Contest Rules

  1. Each team must consist of at most three eligible students from the same institution.
  2. All team members must be present in the contest room before the contest begins. Once the contest starts, no one will be allowed to enter. If any team member is absent at the start, the remaining members must continue the contest without them.
  3. Teams are provided with one computer. Personal laptops or external devices are strictly prohibited.
  4. Each contestant may also bring a dictionary for translation purposes. Dictionaries must not be marked other than to identify the owner.
  5. Contestants are not allowed to communicate with other teams or external people during the contest.
  6. Electronic devices (phones, tablets, laptops, smartwatches, USB drives, etc.) are strictly prohibited during the contest.
  7. The internet is disabled on the contest machines. Contestants are only allowed to access the official contest system.
  8. Clarification requests during the contest must be submitted through the official system.
  9. Any attempt to violate contest integrity or rules, including cheating or impersonation, may result in penalties, including disqualification.
  10. Any form of hacking, system tampering, or attempt to exploit the contest environment will result in immediate disqualification. This includes trying to access unauthorized files, reverse-engineering the system, or disrupting other teams.
  11. All decisions made by the judges are final.
  12. All team members and their coach must bring their ID cards. If the coach cannot accompany the team members, the team must bring one printed copy of their coach's ID.
